Dear Bruce, Shannon, Nikole, Mike, &Dolly and other family, 
We were so sorry to hear about Cody's accident that took his life.  Our condolences to all of the Miller family.  We hope you can find the strength to get through this very sad time.  Cody was a great kid and a great hockey player when the boys played together.  He always tried to help everyone on the team GET  a goal!  Garett always enjoyed playing with Cody!  Unfortunately, he was not here for the funeral as he was away in Arizona--(getting married!). Your family  will be in our prayers and thoughts for the next while as you try to learn to live with this sad situation.  Dolly is so young to be losing a Dad, but hopefully you will be able to keep her up to date on how things used to be when Cody was with you.

My condolences to the Miller and Dorsch families.  I can’t imagine the hole in your hearts this has left.  Cody was a great friend to have growing up and a person that everyone wanted to be around. We are so very sorry to hear the heart-breaking news of Cody’s death. Our hearts go out to you in the devastating loss of a special son. We have so many memories of special times together, all the friends and families, and especially all the hockey over the years. Cody’s boundless heart, energy, hustle, determination and work ethic were second to none. He was the one key piece that every team needs, the heart and soul player you could count on.  We also remember all the  mini-stick games, air soft gun battles in the basement, camping, wakeboarding, football, volleyball, just hanging out,  street hockey games,  and the magical backyard rink times that would go on way past dark under the flood lights. We cherish all the memories, and send our love support to you all in this time of grief.

Cody was always very nice to me throughout my years knowing him. I specifically remember one time in grade 10 or 11  in the WCS parking lot my sensors in my car were going off saying my tire pressure was low. I didn’t know what to do  or what it meant and was nervous. Cody got out of his car, putting him much later in the after school rush exit line, to check my tires and reassure me that I would make it home safely.  One of the many examples of his kindness.
