Patricia Ann “Patty Ann “ Lombardo, 57, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully Friday, January 29, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born October 6, 1958 in Hartford and is the daughter of Mary Jane (Damiano) Lombardo of Wethersfield and the late Frank Lombardo. Patty Ann was a graduate of South Catholic High School, Class of 1977. She was employed by the State of Connecticut, Department of Labor and later the Department of Administrative Services for over 25 years. She enjoyed gardening and going to the beach, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and precious grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. Besides her mother, she is survived by her son, Edward F. Lombardo and wife Kristin; her daughter, Nicole M. Lombardo and her love, Brian Trifiro; her two adored grandchildren, Dominic Anthony Lombardo and Olivia Ann Lombardo; her brother, Frank Lombardo, Jr. and sister, Lona M. Barone and husband Stephen, all of Wethersfield. Patty Ann also leaves behind her niece and goddaughter, Daniella M. Barone and nephew, Frank N. Barone; her godson, Joe Buccheri; special cousins, Linda Buccheri and husband, Paul and Donna Queiros and husband, Jim, uncle, Arthur Bagdasarin and his family; childhood dear and close friends, John Livingston and Danielle Sullivan, as well as many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Anthony and Patricia (Parente) Damiano; paternal grandparents, Paul and Josephine Lombardo; uncles and aunts, Carmen Damiano, Christine Bagdasarin, Joseph and Josephine Lombardo, Richard Lombardo and Sara Mascolo.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Please go directly to the church on Friday morning.
