Mark David Goldberg, 54, of West Hartford, beloved husband of Deborah (Bazzano) Goldberg, passed away at home on Sunday (December 14, 2008). Born in Hartford on April 5, 1954, he was the son of the late George and Sadie (Zarr) Goldberg. He was a graduate of Manchester Community College and was employed as a Youth Service Officer at the Connecticut Juvenile Training Center in Middletown. Mark was passionate about disco music, the New York Giants and the love of his life, Debbie. He could always be found the first Thursday of the month dancing at the Red Rock. Besides his wife, Deborah, he is survived by three sons, Jonathan, Aaron and Ryan Goldberg; his mother-in-law, Angie Bazzano of Old Lyme; his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and James Capella, his nephew Jay and his niece Christine. In addition, Mark will be dearly missed by his co-workers who have always appreciated his unique sense of humor and take on life; to him they were a second family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Goldberg. His family is devastated and share comfort in this loss with his many friends and the knowledge that his life and love will always be remembered. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield. The burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford.
