Mark L. Drabicki

Mark Ludwik Drabicki, 60, of Rocky Hill, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at his home. He was born in Hartford, March 30, 1963, son of the late Ludwik and Bogumila (Stanek) Drabicki. Mark was a kind hearted soul. He was good natured, friendly, and had an infectious smile. He always kept us laughing by leaving us with a corny joke. He left us too soon.

Mark graduated from South Catholic High School, Hartford. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years. He enjoyed auto racing, muscle cars, motorcycles, classic rock and watching the Boston Red Sox.

Mark leaves his sister, Elizabeth Buccheri and her husband Joseph, Jr of Cromwell; his beloved nephew and niece, Joseph Buccheri, III and Daniella Buccheri both of Cromwell, CT; and many close friends and extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 12, at 11:00 AM at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 63 Popieluszko Court, Hartford. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark’s memory may be made to: American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692. Burial services will be private and at a later date.
