Jeffrey Dennis Decosse

Jeffrey Dennis Decosse, 45 of Avon, beloved husband for 22 years of Dania (Mullarney) Decosse, passed away after a heroic fight against Covid 19 on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at UConn John Dempsey Hospital, Farmington. Born in Plattsburgh, NY on September 28, 1975, he was the son of Dennis Decosse of Churubusco, NY and Patricia (Rushford) Bryant and husband Barry of Cadyville, NY. He was a devoted manager for USA Recycling Company. Jeff was generous and kind hearted, and had a contagious smile. He would give anyone the shirt off of his back if they needed it. Jeff had a passion for tractor and truck pulling and drag racing. He also enjoyed spending time snowmobiling and boating. He loved coaching his kids and watching them play sports. A devoted family man, there was nothing that brought him more joy than spending time with his family.

In addition to his devoted wife Dania, Jeff will be forever missed by his five adored children, Joshua, Jacob, Jonathan, Jenna Decosse and Nicholas Blair. He is also survived by his brother, Casey Decosse and wife Kierstin of Ellenburg, NY; two cherished nieces, Lauren and Addison Decosse; his special brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, who he loved like his own kids, Joseph, Nicholas and Amelia Mirsky. He is also survived by paternal grandmother, Rita LaValley, as well as many extended family members, co-workers and friends.
