Debra (Reed) Petig 61, of Newington, beloved wife of Robert J. Petig, died Tuesday, (February 26, 2013) in Boston. Born in Hartford she was the daughter of Rosalie (Grasso) Reed and the late Warren Reed. She graduated in 1969 from Bulkeley High School, Hartford and was employed at Honey Baked Ham in Newington. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her daughter, Penny Petig and her partner, Staci Lands of Lewiston, NY, her brother, Tim Reed, two sisters, Sandra Shinder, and Sharon Holmgren and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins and nephews.
