Concettina “Connie” Lucia (Porrino) Lustrinelli, 64 of Rocky Hill, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 13. Connie was born August 5, 1960, and raised in Hartford, daughter to the late Natalino G. and Maria A. (D’Anello) Porrino. She attended Hartford schools, graduating from South Catholic High School, Class of 1978.
Connie was employed as the Office Manager at Metro Auto Body, Hartford. She was a very hard-working employee, who never missed a day of work. In her free time, Connie enjoyed cooking and baking, especially her famous lasagna. She looked forward to her weekend espresso with her brother. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, she took pleasure in watching hallmark movies and listening to Elvis Presley.
Connie will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her loving family. She leaves behind the father of her children, Giorgio Lustrinelli and her two children, Anthony C. Lustrinelli, with his wife Brittney, of Wethersfield; her daughter, Melissa (Lustrinelli) Garrity, with her husband Brian, of Newington; a brother, Joseph Porrino of Rocky Hill; as well as her three cherished and adored grandchildren, Logan Garrity, Mason and Hadley Lustrinelli.
Connie will also be greatly missed by extended family and friends, especially Rita and Dom Castrucci.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield, Friday, December 20 from 4-6pm, concluding with a memorial celebration of Connie’s life. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 in remembrance of Connie’s Mother, Maria Porrino whom she helped to care for during her illness.
