Claire (Turbert) Merkle, 80, of Wethersfield, beloved wife for 51 years of Gerhard Merkle. passed away peacefully on Friday December 13, 2024. In addition to her husband, Claire is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Omar Williams and grandchildren, Harrison and Grace Williams, all of West Hartford; her brothers, Edward Turbert and wife Mary and James Turbert and partner Sue Hall, all of West Hartford and her niece and goddaughter, Mary Roberts and husband Nigel of West Hartford.
Calling hours will be Saturday, January 4 from 10-11 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield.
