

Bovio J. Pulito, 91, of West Hartford, Old Saybrook and Delray Beach, FL beloved husband of 60 years of Barbara (Kinghorn) Pulito, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (November 21, 2007), at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New York City, son of the late Frank and Rose (Ruzzi) Pulito and had lived in the Hartford area all of his life. He was President of the West Hartford Credit Union and a salesman for Capitol Liquors of East Hartford and Johnny Barton Wholesalers of North Haven. He was an Air Force Veteran of World War II where he was a First Lieutenant with the 8th Division and a life time member of the Elks. Besides his wife he leaves his sons, Robert Pulito and his wife Patti, John R. Pulito all of West Hartford, daughters, Valerie Johnson and her husband Mark of Randolph, NJ, Linda Cannarella and her husband Francis of Rocky Hill, sister, Anna Skory of New London, grandchildren, Lisa SanMartino, Amy Blanco, Jeanne Cannarella, Matthew and BreAnne Johnson, Kaitlin, William and David Pulito and two great grandchildren, Anthony and Ava. He was predeceased by a sister Aida Mascolo and a brother Frank Pulito. His family would like to thank Jane Ahlquist, his niece, for all her care, kindness and support. Funeral services will be Monday with a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. in St. Timothy's Church, 1116 North Main Street, West Hartford. (All those attending please go directly to church.) Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
