Anne M. (Moynihan) Greco, 81, of Glastonbury, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 and is now reunited with her beloved husband of 51 years, the late Salvatore Greco. Born in Hartford on January 8, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ethel (Daly) Moynihan. Anne grew up in Hartford and graduated from Weaver High School in 1961 before earning her Associate’s Degree from Manchester Community College. Anne worked at several companies through the years as an administrative assistant, though her longest job was that of the neighborhood Avon Lady. She adored traveling and cherished living in Hawaii for several years in her early 20s. She also enjoyed many years of vacations on Cape Cod and Hilton Head Island with her family.
A loving mother and grandmother, Anne will be forever missed by her four children, Michele Fitzgibbons and husband Dennis of Marlborough, Timothy Greco of Rocky Hill, Daniel Greco and wife Lindsay of Madison and Nicole Greco and husband Christopher Siloac of Wethersfield and her five adored grandchildren, Tyler, Connor, Cameron, Ryan and Caroline. She is also survived by two brothers, Frank Moynihan of West Hartford and Daniel Moynihan and wife Debbie of Waxhaw, NC; her sister, Joan Kelley of Stafford Springs, as well as several dear nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Anne was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Shirley Moynihan and her brother-in-law, Richard Kelley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 16 at 11 a.m. at SS. Isidore & Maria Parish at St. Paul Church, 2577 Main Street, Glastonbury. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Burial will be private at a later date. Family and friends may call on Monday, April 15 from 4-7 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield.
