Vincent P. Papaleo

Vincent P. Papaleo, of Township of Washington, passed away on Friday, July 26. Beloved husband of Joan Papaleo for 57 years. Devoted father (and Father-in-Law) of Carolyn Duchene and her husband Tim, and Robert Papaleo and his wife Karen. Loving grandfather of Frankie and Carly Papaleo, and granddogers Cricket, Daisy, Auggie & BeBe. Born in The Bronx, he lived in the Township for 45 years. After retiring from IBM in 1987, Vince held positions in the Township at the Town Hall office and Washington Tennis & Racquet Club. He was a kind, sincere person who touched so many people throughout his vibrant life. Even during his long battle with cancer, he looked at every interaction as an opportunity to make a positive impact and always put others before himself.

Vince's life will be celebrated at a funeral mass at Our Lady Mother of the Church in Woodcliff Lake, NJ on Monday August 5, at 11:00 am, with lunch following at Bellissimo Restaurant in Montvale, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
