FARRELL, Terence "Noel", 86, a longtime resident of Westwood, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 8th, 2018. Terence is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Eileen (née Farrelly); his five children: Rosemary, Terence, Catherine, Theresa and Michael; His two grandchildren, Peter and Sofia Maroko, whose parents are Rosemary Farrell and Andrew Maroko; his siblings, Patrick, Seamus, and Kathleen as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Born on December 18th, 1931, Terence grew up in County Cavan, Ireland and also lived in Belfast and Birmingham, United Kingdom. He came to the United States in 1958 and lived in New York City where he played Irish football and began his career as a bank teller for Chemical Bank, now J.P. Morgan Chase. He went to banking school and moved his family to Westwood, NJ in 1973. He had a long career at Chase, working for 35 years with the company, and retired as a vice president in 1995. In his spare time, he loved routing for his favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees, watching European soccer, playing golf, collecting coins and, along with his wife Eileen, served as an active parishioner for St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Westwood. He is predeceased by his parents, Mary (née Nulty) and James Farrell as well as two siblings, Bob and Anna. The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, March 14th from 4-9 PM. A Mass celebrating Terence's life and faith will be held at St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Westwood, NJ on Thursday, March 15th at 10:30AM with interment at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ to follow.
