FEEHAN, Rev. Stephen S., 75, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27 from 2-9PM with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:30PM at St. Andrew R.C. Church, 120 Washington Avenue, Westwood, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Andrew R.C. Church on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 10:30AM. Interment will follow immediately at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. Fr. Steve was predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Catherine Feehan and by his sister Mary Siri and her husband Denis. Beloved brother of James Feehan and his wife Anne Gale of Mahwah, NJ, Kevin Feehan of Guttenberg, NJ, Julie Tatti and her husband Lou of Wayne, NJ, and Colette Brooks and her husband Paul of Haworth, NJ. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many dear friends and brother priests who supported him throughout his life and illness. Fr. Steve attended St. Aloysius Elementary School, Jersey City, NJ, St. Cecelia High School, Englewood, NJ, Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ, Immaculate Conception Seminary, Darlington, NJ and St. Louis University, Saint Louis, MO. Fr. Steve was ordained a priest on May 26, 1962 by Archbishop Thomas A. Boland. He served as Parochial Vicar at St. Aedan: St. Peter’s College Church in Jersey City from 1962-1964. He was on the faculty of Immaculate Conception Seminary in Mahwah and South Orange, NJ from 1964-1984. He was appointed Pastor of St. Andrew Church in Westwood on November 30, 1984 where he served as Pastor until July of 1995. He served as Dean of Deaneries 1 and 4 from April of 1993 until July of 1995. He was appointed Director of Formation of Priests in July of 1995 and served in that capacity until July of 1998. He was appointed Pastor of Little Flower Church, Berkeley Heights, NJ from July of 1998 until July of 2008 and served as Dean in Union Northwest from 2003 until July of 2008.
