Stacy Strobel-Melvin, 54, of Oradell, passed from us on Sunday, August 16. At her side were her children Ryan, Kayleen, Erin and Thomas, her stepchildren Linnea and Eric and her husband Jim. She is survived by her parents, Richard and Jean Strobel of Monroe, NY and her brothers, Timothy, Matthew, Jason and Daniel.
A nurse for over thirty years, she had spent the majority of that time in the pursuit of a cure for Multiple Sclerosis while involved in clinical research at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck. In light of that and in lieu of flowers, please honor Stacy’s memory by making a gift to The Stacy Fund, a scholarship for Holy Name School of Nursing, so the next generation of nurses may pick up where she left off.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, August 20 between 4-8 PM at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 21 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 300 Elm Street, Oradell at 10:00 am.
