Sondra Marra

MARRA, Sondra, 82, of Twp. of Washington, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was born in New York, NY to Lawrence and Mariah Unold. Beloved wife of Gabriel P. Marra. Devoted mother of Gabriel L. Marra and his wife Diane, Laura Marra-Saillen and her husband Jean-Michel and the late son Jeffrey Marra. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Marra-Aschenbrand and her husband David, Melody-Anne Pagan and her husband Leonard, and Sienna, Olivia, and Hunter Saillen. Loving great grandmother of Benjamin and Cameron Aschenbrand and Blazer Pagan. Sondra's first love was for her husband Gabriel, followed closely by her love for her family. She was a lifelong, active member of the Park Ridge United Methodist Church. Sondra served as secretary at Lederle Laboratories and became the bookkeeper for Marra's Hair Designs. She also modeled at Gabe's competitions and beauty shows. Sondra nourished her family with both her accomplished cooking and her boundless affection. She will remain in our hearts forever. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23 from 5-8PM. The Funeral Service will be held at the Park Ridge United Methodist Church, Park Ridge, NJ on Monday, October 24 at 11AM. Burial to follow at Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, NJ.
