Robert Sunderland Todd

On Monday, December 26th, 2022, Robert Todd, of Washington Twp. loving husband of the late Cheryl (Hopper) Todd and father of two sons, Keith and Kevin Todd passed away peacefully at the age of 86. Bob is also survived by his daughters-in-laws, Elizabeth McKnight, Ann Todd and three grandchildren, Robert, Maggie, and Matthew Todd.

Robert was born in 1936, in Kearny, NJ to Irish immigrants Robert and Janet Todd. He was an accomplished graphic artist designer and wildlife illustrator for more than thirty years with one of the world’s leading producers of paper and packaging. His purple irises painting was chosen for the New Jersey’s

Cancer Care license plate. Over his lifetime he received several awards for his wildlife paintings. Robert enjoyed gardening and was an avid fly fisherman. He served in the New Jersey National Guard and was a member of Old Paramus Reformed Church.
