Richard was born in the Bronx, NY on September 16, 1943, to Edward A. and Maude E. Robinson.
He grew up in Yorkers, NY and
graduated from Fordham University in 1966. Among other pursuits, Richard was a teacher, coach and accomplished athlete.
He is survived by his sons, Richard (Kate), Stephen, and Peter (Miriam) and grandchildren, Gabriela and Peter; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Smith, Meg Robinson-Neff (Bob), Marty and brother John (Eva) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Edward.
Burial was private. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
