Raymond J. Donaldson

Raymond J. Donaldson, of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022. He was born in the Bronx, NY to Robert and Ellen Donaldson. Beloved husband of the late Joan A. Donaldson. Devoted father of Joe, Tim, Kathleen, Chris and his wife Jordan and the late Raymond Jr. Loving grandfather of Kevin, Sean, Ryan, Tommy and Daniel.

Ray served our country as a proud member of the United States Navy. He was a parishioner of Church of the Assumption in Emerson, NJ. Before retiring, he worked for the Telephone Company for over 30 years.

The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, October 13 from 4-8PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Ray’s life and faith will be held at Church of the Assumption, 29 Jefferson Avenue, Emerson, NJ, on Friday, October 14 at 11AM. Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Ray’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
