Peter Joseph Weise

Peter J. Weise, age 59, passed away suddenly on August 25, 2018 in Westwood, NJ. Peter was born in Bronx, NY to Theodore and Dorothy Weise. He recently moved to Westwood after living in Howell, NJ for the past 20 years. He was the Director of Sales & Marketing at the Stamford Marriott Hotel, and had over 30 years in the hotel business. Peter loved the New York Knicks and music, and shared that love with his son, Ben. He had a quick wit and great sense of humor. He had an unimaginable amount of love for his family. Peter was happiest when surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, of almost 29 years, daughter, Sarah and son, Benjamin. He is survived by his sisters; Dotty Weise, Mary Howley(Larry) and Karen Mulholland(John) and in-laws; Peter Witt(Kerry), Catherine Ferraro(Greg), Lizabeth Witt(Stephen Mixon), Paul Witt(Doug Geller); and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ, Wednesday, August 29th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, August 30th at St. Andrew’s Church, 120 Washington Ave, Westwood, NJ at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Autism Speaks at Austismspeaks.org
