You were the best friend ever!  You were so bad and yet so good at training us how to drink Tequila the proper way. And how we loved it n had crazy fun! We always had a good time together n loved having cocktails in the garage. Miss n 💕 love you! Save a spot for me.


Captain Peter Hausch was my Troop Commander in Troop "B:.
A finer man you could never meet. He was a great, loyal and devoted Trooper and working for him was a pleasure.
May God Bless his soul and his family and may he rest in peace.

Captain Hausch was my troop commander. One year I sneaked into his office and I wrote on his calendar on my birthday, "tpr. Dunbar's birthday. get cake and ice cream".  So I'm working days on my birthday and having lunch with several troopers in the kitchen.  Capt Hausch came down the hallway and placed a small cake and a half gallon of ice cream on the table in front of me. I asked him what was this about.  He smiled and said, "i dont know brian, it was on my to do calendar" and he went back upstairs. He was a great officer and person. My condolences  to his friends and family.


I know that Uncle Pete, Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, and David are sitting around their table at this moment....eating crab claws, scratching lottery tickets, and having cocktails.  They are laughing and loving.  That gives me great comfort ❤️

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Peter! He was one of my squad Sergeant’s as a dispatcher on the GSP. Troop Commander in B Troop as a Trooper. Peter was a gentleman and wonderful person! He use to wait until my last bite of lunch or dinner to take me up on the offer of sharing my meal! I will never forget when I got him back holding onto a second sandwich  he didn’t know about! I will miss and always remember him fondly! My prayers go out to his family and his memory! I am so very sorry to be unable to attend his services.

To all the Hausch family, and a special hug for my lovely old friend, Janet, Robbie and I send our warmest wishes for comfort at the loss of Pete.   But memories live on, and Janet, just a laugh when I remind you of the night Pete and his buddy stood on the little back porch of your first little house together and blessed the greenery!   Lots of wonderful memories from all the years.

Grandpa, what a legacy you leave behind! Look at the incredible family you and Grandma have created. From summer BBQs where you manned the grill and made drinks by the pool, to Thanksgiving dinners where you were seated at the head of the table and made us all laugh—we are blessed to have shared so many days with you. And you made the best martinis (with cocktail onions) and Irish coffee!  I will miss your humor, and your kindness, and your love. I will miss you, always. Love you, Grandpa.
