Pamela Humphreys

On October 20, 2019, Pamela Humphreys of Harrington, Park, NJ passed away at the age of 77.

Pam was born in Dumont, NJ in 1941 to Janet and Raymond Hamilton. On September 17, 1960, she married Donald Humphreys of Harrington Park, son of Harriet and Robert Humphreys. Pam and Don lived for more than 50 years in Harrington, Park, NJ where they raised their four children, Kim, Debra, Donald, and Amy. She worked for more than 35 years at the Lindgren Nursery School in Closter, NJ.

Pam loved knitting, reading, and, most of all, spending time with her friends and beloved grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Janet and Raymond, her husband, Donald, her recent companion, Jack Hickey, and her beloved Aunt and Uncle, Donald and Florence (Judy) Jess. She is survived by her daughters, Kim Humphreys, Debra Humphreys, and Amy Battle and son, Donald Humphreys; her grandchildren, Emma and Jack Battle, and Alexandra and Michael Humphreys, her sons-in-law, John Battle, Stephen Gaines, and Thomas Mullen, her daughter-in-law, Yvonne Yueh Humphreys, and her cousins, Nancy Murray, Bonnie Jess Lopane, Priscilla Glasow, and Barbara Grannell.

A service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ, followed by internment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 1st from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Becker Funeral Home.
