RAGNO, Nancy C., age 97, formerly of Jersey City, NJ, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012. Daughter of the late Julia and Santo Ragno. Beloved sister of Mary A. Bock, Anthony G. and Joseph F. Ragno. She is predeceased by her sisters, Anna G. Grasso and Rose G. Ragno and her brothers Dominick J., Louis J. Sr. and S. George Ragno. Nancy is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews and their families. Before retiring in 1977, Nancy was an Executive Secretary with Equitable Life Insurance Company for 47 years. She was an active member in Leisure Village West in Manchester, and was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church, in Lakehurst. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at Church of St. Mary, Closter, NJ on Thursday at 10AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Memorial gifts may be made in Nancy’s name to the American Cancer Society.
