Michael P. Bertone

Michael P. Bertone, Age 88, of Township of Washington, NJ passed away on March 27, 2012. Born in Monte San Giacomo, Salerno, Italy. Beloved husband of Marian Bertone and is survived by 3 children, Michael O. Bertone, David J. Bertone and Lorraine Sarkisian and 4 grandchildren; Danielle, Daniel, Ava and Elaina. Mr. Bertone was a decorated Navy veteran of World War II and after serving in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters, he was honorably discharged in November 1945. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel church since 1956 and was employed for over 40 years at R. A. Hamilton Corporation of Hackensack, NJ. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home on Friday, March 30th at 9am with a 10am funeral mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Township of Washington, NJ. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 29th from 2-4 pm and 7- 9 pm.
