WESTWOOD - Marie Dorothy Moran, 96, passed away on Thursday 12/5/2019. Marie(Dot) was the beloved wife of the late John P. Moran. Sister of the late Gloria O’Brien Helen Norton and Bill Vermeal. Dot is survived by her five loving children John W. Moran(Marilyn), Theresa Moran, Michael (Fiona), Thomas(Marcella) and Vincent Moran. As well as ten loving grand children and eight great grand children. Born in Hoboken she raised her family in River Edge NJ., retiring to Forked River and eventually relocating to Westwood some 25 years ago. She was a licensed beautician for decades and last worked in the offices of Paid Prescriptions of Franklin Lakes NJ. She was a member of Westwood Seniors Fellowship and a dedicated member of the Sassy Ladies Senior Dance Group. Visitation will be on Sunday at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood from 1-3 and 5-7 pm. A service celebrating Marie’s life and faith will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 11:30 am. Burial will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
