Marie D'Alessio

Marie ( LaManna) D’Alessio, 91 of Westwood, NJ passed away peacefully on April 13, 2012 at the Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ. Born in The Bronx, NY, she moved to Westwood in 1954. Mrs. D’Alessio was a graduate of Jane Addams Vocational School, Bronx, NY. She worked as a seamstress while raising her family and enjoyed cooking. Marie was a long-time parishioner of St. Andrew’s Church, Westwood, NJ. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Silver D’Alessio in 1980 and is survived by her children, Marianne Heymann and her husband Bud, Gregory D’Alessio and his wife Pat and Robert D’Alessio and his wife Kelly; her sister, Carmela Ehni and her husband Bill; her grandson, Erik Heymann and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home on Wednesday 9am with a 10am funeral mass at St. Andrew’s Church, Westwood, NJ. Interment to follow in Westwood Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home.
