Kirsten Royland

ROYLAND, Kirsten (nee Kimestad), 78, of New Milford, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Kirsten was born in Norway to Peder and Sigrid Kimestad, and came to the U.S. in March of 1959. Beloved wife of the late Oskar Royland. Devoted mother of Jan Royland and his wife Barbara, and the late Steven Royland. Loving grandmother of Christine, Matthew and Taline. She is predeceased by her 2 sisters in Norway. Kirsten was the bookkeeper for the family business, Milford Flooring Corp. in New Milford and also worked for Critchley Candy in Oradell. The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, October 18, 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 19, at the funeral home at 10AM. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Kirsten's name to either Bergen County Health Care Center, Rockleigh, NJ or American Heart Association.
