DeTITTA, June P. (nee Flugel), 80, of West Nyack, NY, formerly of River Vale, NJ, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013. June was born in New York City to John and Mae Flugel. Beloved wife of George M. DeTitta. Devoted mother of George M. DeTitta, Jr. and his wife Lesley, Patrice DeTitta Di Lorenzo and her husband Michael, Gerald DeTitta and his wife Ellen, Christopher DeTitta and his wife Loretta, Beth Ann Prosser and her husband Richard. Dear sister of the late John Flugel. Loving grandmother of Daniel, Lauren, Katelyn, Michael, Nicholas, Matthew, Juliette, Christopher, Delaney and Meg. Cherished great grandmother of Avery and Jameson. Before retiring June had worked for Union Labor Life Insurance Co. and Bullingers Guide. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating June’s life and faith will be at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Park Ridge, NJ on Wednesday at 10AM. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in June’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
