Joseph R. Marigliani

MARIGLIANI, Joseph R., 73, of Montvale, NJ passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018. He was born in Englewood, NJ to Joseph and Katherine Marigliani. Beloved husband of Dorothy Marigliani. Devoted father of Tara Cummings and her husband Matthew. Loving grandfather of Andrew and Kaitlynn. Dear brother of James Marigliani and his wife Sharon, Marilyn Burtis, Lorraine Carfi and her husband Gary and the late Katherine Zimmerman. He is also survived by his cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Joe was the retired Chief of Police for the Borough of Montvale, having served his community for 40 years. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps serving our country proudly during the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion and VFW. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Monday, April 2 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The service celebrating Joe’s life and faith will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Pearl River, NY on Tuesday, April 3 at 11AM. Interment will follow at St. Paul Highview Cemetery, Middletown Road, Nanuet, NY.
