I can’t believe it’s been a year Old Farticus.  So much has happened already.  We think about you nearly daily.  This season didn’t mean as much to me this year thinking about how i couldn’t share the stories with you.  Once our pooch recovers, we are going to get down the shore to visit Cookie.  

A great person.  We hung out together years ago.  Such a terrific personality.  So sorry for your loss.

Joe was a terrific person.   We were in Westwood High School together.   In the obituary picture he looks like his uncle Joe,
who I was friends with.    My condolences to the entire family !

Dear Cookie & Family, I am so, so sorry for your loss. You have my deepest sympathy. I was the new girl at the pool & you two welcomed me with open arms. Joe made me laugh ALOT. I thought I was so lucky to have friends like you both. Now I am so sad to have lost such a kind man. I could just tell you two were meant to be. My heart aches for you. May God give you strength & know Joe is in Heaven & you now have an Angel watching over you. I will miss his smile & his wit. Fly high Joe. You earned your wings.

So sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. He was such a wonderful man and an awesome “scootch”. I am proud to be his cousin. So many great memories.

I love that everyone called him Uncle Joe…. He made everyone of us feel special and that we were all part of the Argenzia family.  I believe that to be his greatest legacy, that we are all family, and I have no doubt that Aunt Cookie, Denyse, Dennis, and Nephews Pat and Danny (whom I consider my brothers), and his sister in law Karin will carry on this love, warmth, and acceptance for generations to come.  He instilled in me a respect and love for the forests and the great outdoors and took me to catch my first trout. Like the saying goes:  The man taught me to fish, and I will never go hungry a day in my life.  There was still so much to learn from you, and so many stories I never got to hear.   I promise that I will do my best to pass along what you have taught me and the stories you did tell me onto your grandchildren and all your nieces and nephews.

So sorry to hear about Uncle Joe's passing. Many great memories. My deepest sympathy goes out to Aunt Cookie and family.



Joe was and is still my best friend down here.  We teased each other all the time and we both loved it.  I am so glad we met.  By the way, when I told my grandson Lucas about Joe's passing, he said he felt sad that "little grandpa" wont be at the pool anymore.  Even he loved you.  Rest in peace my friend.

Uncle Joe. I always called him that although he wasn’t my uncle by blood, but through my friendship with his nephew Pat & wife Nicole. I have many fond & fun memories of him, as I lived next door to him for almost 2 years. I also visited them in Toms River once for their fun green-themed St. Patrick’s Day bash! My warmest memory of him that I’d like to share is… one day I wasn't wearing makeup, and he actually noticed my little freckles (which not everyone does). He pointed it out and said, “I didn’t know you had freckles! I quietly told him it’s because I always cover them with makeup. He replied, “Oh I love them! You’re so cute!” He's one of very few ppl who have seen my freckles and made me feel good about them. It means a lot to me because I hate them! Really wish I could’ve given him one more hug.
