Jean Mae Winkler

Jean Mae Bogert, Horn, Heck, Winkler went home to heaven on November 29, 2017, while visiting her daughter Candy and son in law Jay Stone and family in NC. Jean resided in Hillsdale NJ for more than 35 years before moving to Newburgh, NY, to live with her daughter and son in law Deb and John Rath. At the age of 93 Jean lived a good long life of faith and loyalty to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was predeceased by three husbands, Wilbur J. Horn Jr., David Heck, and Robert Winkler. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Darci and Dave Struthwolf, Jackie and Nicole. John and Kathy Winkler, Chad and Elissa Winkler, Hudson and Selah. Jocelyn and Todd Goranson, Lincoln and Josia. Jordan and Sonja Winkler, Ethan. Tyler and Lana Winkler, Archer.

Jean was a charter member of Pascack Bible Church, Hillsdale NJ. She loved all of her family as well as her church family. She sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, lead Bible Studies, taught ESL and opened her home to many. She kept in touch with her many children and grandchildren and great grand children with a youthful joy and love and prayed for us all. She gave generously of herself and we will miss her until we see her again in glory.

Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, on Tuesday 5-8 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Pascack Bible Church, 181 Piermont Avenue, Hillsdale, on Wednesday at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow in Westwood Cemetery, Westwood.
