James F. Lyons

LYONS James F., of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, died on December 31, 2011. Jim was born in the Bronx, NY. He is the retired Global Vice President of Manufacturing for the Sealed Air Corporation of Saddle Brook, NJ. Jim was a board member of the Cerebral Palsy Center of Fair Lawn, NJ. He was an Army Veteran. Jim was predeceased by his loving wife Sally and his beloved grandson Connor Donohue. He is survived by his children, Jane Donohue and her husband Patrick, Christine Lyons and her husband Steven Landry, Kevin Lyons and his girlfriend Joanne Parker, Sean Lyons and his wife Kimberly, and Joanne Haggerty and her husband Brian. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, who knew him as "Gaga", Caroline Donohue and her husband Alexi Mantsios, Joshua Landry, Shannon, Mikaela, and Emily Lyons, Sean, James and Julia Haggerty. Brother Donald Lyons and his wife Catherine, brother John Lyons and his wife Elaine, and sister Gladys also survive Jim. He was predeceased by his sister Marita. Jim is survived by many nieces and nephews. Jim will be remembered for his generosity, his strength of character, his positive attitude and his humor. He was a constant inspiration to his children. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, January 4, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The family will gather with their family and friends for the Funeral Mass at Our Lady Mother of the Church, Woodcliff Lake, NJ, on Thursday, January 5 at 11 AM.
