Grace Manderano

Grace Manderano, 92, of Westwood, NJ, formerly from West New York, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Grace is predeceased by her loving husband, John Manderano. She is survived by her loving children Carol Ker, and husband Donald Ker, and Patricia Eckel and husband Thomas Sikorsky; her grandchildren Kelly Mahoney and husband James Mahoney, Tracy McKenna and partner Jesse Rotas, and Sean McKenna and wife Shannon McKenna; great-grandchildren John Mahoney and Caelen Mahoney. This list would not be complete without mentioning her beloved dogs Lola and Bree. Grace always had dogs in her life and they were always beloved family members to her!Grace was devoted to her husband, John, and was devastated to lose him 24 years ago. It was the blessings of watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up that gave her comfort and joy in his absence. She enjoyed traveling, drinking wine, and spending time with friends and family. Grace spent several years working in the library at Westwood Regional High School, where she loved to share her passion for reading, spending time with students, and staff members that she was honored to call her friends.Prior to moving to Westwood, Grace was blessed with wonderful friends In West New York…friends that lasted her entire lifetime. It was in West New York that Grace and John bought their first house and raised their children. Her Hudson County roots were always a very important part of her life.Grace was the first person to tell you that she was blessed with a wonderful life! She is now at peace and reunited with John, the love of her life.
