Gerard Farrell

FARRELL, Gerard, 90, of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013. He was born in County Carlow, Ireland to John and Bridget Farrell. Beloved husband of 56 years of Winifred Farrell (nee Treacy). Devoted father of James Farrell and his wife Judith, Gerard W. Farrell and his wife Christa, Maureen Baumann and her husband Robert, Una Werner and her husband Thomas. He is predeceased by his son, Sean Farrell. Loving grandfather of Kelly, Colleen, Tracy, Melissa, Riley and Allyson. Before retiring in 1988 he worked for NY Telephone for 35 years and was a member of CWA Local #1101, NY, NY. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale, NJ. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, April 4, 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 5 at 10AM at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale, NJ. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
