George, 80 of Toms River, NJ passed away on February 22, 2012 at his son’s home in Mahwah, NJ. Born in New York City, NY, he formerly lived in Norwood and Old Tappan, NJ before moving to Toms River, NJ. George was a Korean War Air Force Veteran, he is a parishioner of St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, Toms River, NJ and he is a member of Ahepa Philanthropic Organization- St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Chapter, Toms River. Mr. Drivanos was a co-owner of Do-All GMC Trucks, Westwood, NJ for 30+ years. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Athena (Avaras) Drivanos in 2009, his brother, Strat Drivanos and his granddaughter, Colleen. George is survived by his children, Nick Drivanos and his wife Marita, Annette Mc Lean and her husband Don and James “Jimmy” Drivanos and his wife Lisa and his grandchildren, Alex, Donald, Ryan and Taylor.
