George Brooks V, of Westwood, NJ, peacefully passed away November 8, 2017. Born in Paterson, NJ, George served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from Thomas J. Lipton, Inc. as a system analyst. An avid fisherman, George also enjoyed boating, woodworking and traveling. He is survived by his loving wife Christa Brooks, (nee Kniepke). He also leaves behind his daughter Barbara Bacich (husband Stephen), his son George VI, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, with a Celebration of Life service at 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Valley Home Care / Hospice, 15 Essex Rd., Suite 301, Paramus, NJ 07652
