KOBLENTZ, Eugene I., 82, of Old Tappan, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to David and Grace Koblentz. Beloved husband of Marilyn Koblentz. Devoted father of Mark Koblentz and his wife Delphine, and Elizabeth Maeder and her husband Stephan. Dear brother of Barbara Fallek and her husband Joe. Loving grandfather of Christopher and his wife Eleah, Benjamin and his wife Aleiss, Olivia, Derek and David. Cherished great grandfather of Odin, Max and Lyla. He is also survived by his cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Sunday, May 20 from 3-6PM. Graveside Service will be held at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY on Monday, May 21 at 11AM. A Memorial Service celebrating Gene’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gene may be made to Villa Marie Claire, Saddle River, NJ, The Old Tappan Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Police Department or one’s favorite charity.
