Ernest F. Buonocore Jr., 75 yrs old, of Oradell, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9th, 2023.
Beloved husband of JoAnn. Devoted father of Ernie III and Jason Alan. Dear brother of Katherine Bounds and Rosemary Musano. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Oradell for 45 years.
Ernest was a supervisor for Hudson County Division of Social Services. He was also an Officer for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal employees (AFSCME). He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
The family will receive their relatives and friends on Wednesday November 15th between the hours of 4pm
and 8pm at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ. A Mass celebrating Ernest's life will be held on Thursday, November 16th at 10am located at St. Joseph's Church in Oradell, NJ.
