Enzo is survived by his beloved wife Ann of 65 years and his sons Erik (Annie Chorbajian) and Austin, his grandchildren Alexis and Tyler DePol and his sister Irene Alarimo. He is predeceased by his father Amilcare, mother Enia and brother Daniel.
He was a Sr. Partner at the New York architectural firm, SLCE where he worked until 2011. Enzo grew up in Bronx NY, attending Roosevelt HS, and, upon serving with the US Army in Korea, continued on to study at Cooper Union and Columbia University. After moving to Glen Rock in 1965, he remained active in sports, particularly tennis, which he enthusiastically played well into his 80’s locally and at his second residence in Florida, where he and Ann enjoyed spending time. Enzo also worked with regional theater, designing sets for a number of local plays. He was a warm, kind and welcoming soul, loved by all who knew him.
The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, July 19 from 4-8 PM with a brief military flag presentation at 7:45 PM with private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Enzo’s name are welcome @ StJude.Org/Donate.
