He had a heart of gold and went out of his way to help all of us through tough times. He always loved being with his family for holidays which was his favorite time to spend with his nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Emil’s love for his sister Stephanie was unrelenting, and their love for each other was intoxicating. In his brother-in-law Dave, he found the brother he never had and relished the conversations they had. Emil was a proud “Uncie” of Talia and Viviana and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on at their Jujitsu and Gymnastics events.
He was an avid expert fisherman and spent a lot of his spare time fishing, which was his favorite sport, when time allowed, he loved chartering a boat for his dad and friends to have a great day out on the water, that put a smile on his face that was brighter than the sun. Being able to take his father fishing was one of his proudest accomplishments, he loved the time they shared together on the water.
He would drive to visit his mom and her husband in Delaware in a moment’s notice, and didn’t mind the drive just to give her a hug and tell her he loved her.
Emil was lucky to have his stepmother Francesca as his second mom and their love for each other was forever and they would share recipes that were truly amazing.
Emil was fortunate to find love with his girlfriend Marisol and her sons Hansel and Imonal and treated them like they were his own. He enjoyed taking them to all sporting events and trips to the Dominican Republic.
Emil was known to everyone to give you a hug that was so filled with love you would burst in tears, he will be greatly missed by everyone who came into his life.
