Edward worked at Burroughs, T&W Ice Cream and lastly Penetone. Edward was born in North Bergen, New Jersey on March 18th, 1937, to Edward Foley and Margaret Haegele, both predeceased him. Edward is predeceased by his sisters Margaret and Patricia. Edward is the beloved husband of Lucille Foley (Cable). He had three children: son Edward (Vicki) of Closter, NJ, daughter Nancy (Scott) of Westwood, NJ and son Chris of Closter, NJ. He had four grandchildren: Victoria (Bruce), Amanda, Hunter, and Dylan. He will be greatly missed by his four-legged son and buddy Chance. He is survived by his nephew Thomas, niece Denise and cousins Joy and Cheryl. He is predeceased by his nephew Michael.
Edward was involved in the Emerson Seniors. He loved going to Atlantic City, watching the Yankees and the New York Giants, and watching western movies. Edward had a passion for classic old cars and loved going to car shows. He had an immense passion for history and reading a variety of books.
Friends and family are invited to visit Monday, August 14, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675. Cremation will be private.
