Douglas L., 62, of Wyckoff, formerly North Bergen, passed away on July 1, 2014. Born in Jersey City, he was a retired Custodian at North Bergen High School. Dear brother of Kurt and predeceased by siblings, Joan Boyle, William, Robert, Raymond and Allen Thoens. Beloved brother-in-law of Susan, Diana and Jean Thoens and the late Patricia Thoens and Jack Boyle. Loving uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Cherished friend to his extended family at Christian Health Care Center. Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Sunday 1-3 PM and Monday 10-11:30 AM. Interment to follow at Crest Haven Cemetery, Clifton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Health Care Center Employee Fund, 301 Sicomac Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. .
