Constance Elaine Casulli, affectionately known as Connie, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2024, in Emerson, NJ. Born to Mary and Joseph Marzullo on June 10, 1930, in Jersey City, NJ, she was a generous soul who welcomed all to her home and treated everyone as the most special guest.
Connie met her beloved husband, Dominick Casulli, at Snyder High School in Jersey City, NJ, from which they graduated in 1948. Upon graduating, she worked as a secretary for the M.W. Kellogg Company. After marrying in 1953, Connie and Dom settled in Paramus, NJ, where she lovingly raised her children Janet (James) Hoover, Judith Casulli Tan, and Glenn (Denise) Casulli. She later worked in the Security Office of Bergen Community College in Paramus, NJ. Connie and Dom were active parishioners for many years at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church in Paramus, NJ.
Connie loved interior decorating, volunteering at her children’s school, and making ceramics. Her greatest joy, however, came from cooking and sharing her delicious food (most notably her famous spaghetti and meatballs) with anyone who walked through her door. Connie’s home was a beacon of warmth and hospitality where she hosted countless joyful gatherings, from holiday celebrations to lively family dinners. Her legacy is one of love, welcoming spirit, and the ability to make everyone feel like they belonged.
Predeceased by her parents and her beloved sister Marguerite, Connie’s memory is honored by her devoted husband Dominick; her above mentioned children; her loving grandchildren, Paul, Shelby and Emily; and many dear cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Donations in Connie’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or
