Kay was born in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Mary Farrell. She married the love of her life, Frank McGrath, nearly 75 years ago. They relocated to Washington Township, NJ in 1956. She took great pride in her community, where she worked for over 20 years in the Township municipal offices, and was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel. Kay was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who proudly spoke of her family to all who knew her. She will be missed for her laughter and kindness.
Kay is preceded in death by her husband, Frank and siblings Mary, Joseph and John. Kay is survived by her children, Tom (Pat), Frank (Clista), and Cathie, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, January 17th, 2020 from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM at Becker Funeral Home, located at 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ 07675.
A funeral mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at Our Lady of Good Counsel, located at 668 Ridgewood Road, Washington Township, NJ 07676.
