McMANUS, Bernard, 88, of Township Of Washington, NJ, passed away on Sunday, June 19th, 2022. Bernard is survived by his beloved wife June Ann; his daughter Jeannine Bordash and her husband Andrew as well as his grandsons Drew and Christopher and sisters Noreen Ferrigno and Nancy Mazza and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Nora Harrigan McManus & Bernard McManus and brothers Daniel and Peter. Bob was 88 years old, born on December 16th, 1933 in New York, NY. He grew up in Clauson Point, Bronx, NY and graduated from Rice High School. Bob enlisted in the US Navy and served for 4 years and was assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga. Bob retired in 2018 after a long career in warehousing.
The family will receive guests TODAY, Tuesday, June 21st from 3-7 PM at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ. A Mass celebrating Bob’s life and faith will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Township Of Washington on Wednesday, June 22nd at 10 AM with interment at Gethsemane Cemetery in Congers, NY to follow. Memorial Contributions can be made in Bernard’s name to the American Cancer Society.
