Anne Clinton

Anne J. Clinton (McAleer) of Westwood, New Jersey passed away peacefully on May 20, 2023. Loving daughter to the late Nora and Peter McAleer. Devoted mother of Charles and his wife Maria and Yvonne Sati and her husband Edward. Dear sister of Margaret Donohue and Joseph McAleer and cousin of Tom and Margaret Steed. Loving grandmother of Julia, Catherine, Scott, and Reilly and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was born in New York City where she graduated from Cathedral High School. She lived in Elmwood Park, NJ for 40 years before moving to Westwood to be close to her children. Anne was a Customer Service Manager at Grand Way in Elmwood Park, Assistant Branch Manager at Suburban Savings/Anchor Savings Bank in Elmwood Park and then on to Quality Assurance Manager for Altel in Wayne, NJ before retiring.

The family will receive their relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood. Also on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 a Mass celebrating Anne’s life and faith will be held at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 668 Ridgewood Road, Township of Washington, NJ. Entombment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road in Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
