SLESARCHIK, Alexander, “Alex”, 92, on Friday, June 5, 2015 of Haworth. Beloved husband of Stella (Bonowitz). Devoted father of Patricia Slesarchik, Timothy and his wife Diana, Robert and his wife Anna. Loving grandfather of Christopher and Julia. Born in Brooklyn, he lived there until moving to Haworth in 1993. Alex served in the US Army during WWII. Visitation at the Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood on Tuesday 4-8 pm. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:00 am. A funeral mass will follow at Sacred Heart Church, Haworth at 10:00 am.
