Hung Nhat Vu, 50 years old, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the loving home of his parents in Lake Forest, California on December 17, 2021 of heart failure. Hung was born on July 29, 1971 in Nha Trang, Vietnam to Williams and Lina Vu, alongside his older brother Cuong Vu and younger sister, Nhu Vu. Hung married his wife Bonnie Nguyen on October 24, 2015 in Huntington Beach, California. Hung was a huge sports fanatic, specifically a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Rams, the Denver Broncos and the USC football team.
His favorite dinner meal was always black cod. Hung will be remembered by his loved ones for his sense of humor. He found most joy in laughter with his family and friends through finding humor in sarcasm in every situation, which everyone will miss and remember him for.
Hung was also a loving dog dad to his two dog daughters, Daisy and Yuki, and found much joy in spending his free time taking them on daily walks and adventures.
Hung is survived by his wife, Bonnie Nguyen, his father and mother, Williams and Lina Vu, his older brother, Cuong Vu, younger sister, Nhu Vu, her husband and their two daughters, along with his two dog daughters, Daisy and Yuki.
All services and visitations will be held at Peek Funeral Home, followed by a Witness Cremation at Peek Family Crematory Witness Room.
