Spencer, Violet, born in Ogdensburg, New York, Vi came to California during WWII and married Edward Spencer in 1945. After her husband's death in 1961, and with four children to raise, Vi worked for Westminster Bowling Alley nursery for 20 years and was affectionately known as "Miss Vi". She worked in daycare, first at the bowling alley and then Vi and her best friend Irma Adams started their own daycare, Popcorn Park, and cared for many children over the years in the Westminster area. She is survived by her four children, April Krueger, Linda Lamb (Steve), Gail Bolander and Allen Spencer; one grandson, Travis Edward Spencer (Kristin) and three great grandchildren.
