Trinh Ton That Phap Danh Tam Dao

It is with great sadness that the family of Professor Tôn Thất Trình (Pháp Danh Tâm Đạo) of Irvine, California announces his passing on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at the age of 90 years. Prof. Trình was born in Hương Trà, Thừa Thiên, Việt Nam to Mr. Tôn Thất Đào and Mrs. Hoàng Thị Thái. He graduated in Agronomic Engineering from National Institute of Agronomy (Institut National Agronomique) – Paris, in 1955. On January 15, 1957, he married Ms. Lê Thị Mộng Chi. He had served twice as the Minister of Agriculture in Việt Nam. He had served as the Chancellor as well as a Professor at College of Agriculture and Forestry in Saigon, Việt Nam.

Prof. Trình will be forever and lovingly remembered by his children, Tôn Nữ Bích Ngọc (Trần Minh Khải), Tôn Nữ Bích Phượng (Vũ Quốc Lương), Tôn Thất Thuần Hiếu (Nguyễn Thanh Thảo), Tôn Thất Thuần Trung (deceased), Tôn Nữ Quỳnh Giao (Kameron Ishikata). He will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Trần Trung Tín (Mindy Lee), Trần Nhật Tân, Vũ Anh Thư (Taylor Hubert Kahnke), Vũ Quang Minh (Đoàn Ngọc Vân Anh), Vũ Kinh Luân, Tôn Nữ Trâm Anh, Tôn Nữ Quỳnh Anh, Tôn Nữ Minh Châu, Jesslyn Tôn Nữ Ishikata, Nikko Tôn Thất Ishikata; as well as his great grandchildren Trần Lee Anne, Jesse Huy Kahnke, Zara Mai Kahnke, Jacqueline Quỳnh Kahnke; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
