Tom Takashi Wada

Tom Takashi Wada was born on June 3, 1935 in Huntington Beach, California. He was the youngest of six children of Ben and Umeo Wada. Tom was raised in Huntington Beach and attended Ocean View School District and graduated from Huntington Beach High School in 1953. For many years, Tom helped his parents on the farm. When the farm was sold, Tom attended Orange Coast College for two years and completed his education at Cal State Fullerton where he received his B.A. in Business.

For 43 years, Tom devotedly worked for Calbee America. He later formed his own business and called it Con Ex International and became a consultant for Calbee America. Tom traveled abroad around the world, but loved Japan the most.

In 1965, Tom married Mildred Midori Maeda and they would have celebrated their 50th golden wedding anniversary in June 2015. Tom has two children, Bryan and Carrie. He also has a granddaughter Nikki and a son-in-law Jimmy. Gidgy was Tom's pet dog that knew all his secrets and he loved unconditionally. Tom will be missed and remembered by friends, loved ones, and all those who knew him.
